That’s exactly what the Solum is. It provides a nuanced sound without the frustrating background noise — as if you’re sitting next to your colleagues in a well-soundproofed room.

That’s thanks to the cardioid characteristic — it picks up sound only in the front of the microphone. Additional clarity points are added through the included pop filter, an external panel of mesh that blocks the “explosive” consonants. We also added an anti-shock mount that helps isolate the microphone from the vibrations carried through the desk whenever you slap it in anger.
